I finally got my copy of the new issue of Ultra Violent Magazine. I turned quickly to page 85 to read the review. I found three lines:

Just got word tonight that A Thousand Words: Bloodline has been officially selected to play at the Dark Carnival Film Festival! This is cool news, it's especially timely as we are part way through production on the third and final chapter to the ATW story.

Dark Carnival is held in Bloomington, Indiana (home of Indiana University- just an hour south of Indianapolis) and this year's fest runs September 16-21, 2008

Thanks to Brad over at Dead Harvey for doing an interview with Jerod and myself. He posted a brief entry about us and then a link to the interview in PDF format. Though the bulk of the interview covers A Thousand Words: Bloodline, We're hopeing that it also helps to promote the new movie which we'll be shooting in August. Right now, things are on track for that so it's all good. He also put in the Myspace site for the new movie instead of the site for the Bloodline movie, but that's cool because it will help drive traffic to us hopefully. Anyway, enjoy my long wordy answer goodness along with Jerod's short sweet answer topping.

That's right, we're still plugging away at this film festival thing. Our movie has been officially selected to play at the 2008 Indiana University South Bend International Video and Film Festival.

Hey, some super cool news for everyone involved in A Thousand Words: Bloodline. I found out this morning that the movie was picked up by Count Gore De Vol. For all those who have not gotten a chance to see the movie, for a time you can check it out online at http://www.countgore.com/NewBlood.htm including intro and wrap-up by Count Gore himself. By the things he said on the site and in the bookend segments he did, he really liked it.

Just when we thought our run with A Thousand Words: Bloodline was over we got a request for the DVD from Unboundzine.com.

We've been asked to speak at the local weekly meeting for the OSU Film & Video Society. We are both pretty jazzed about it and looking forward to sharing information we've learned on our journey in filmmaking and information about some of the great things going on here in Columbus and the surrounding area.

Last night Tempered Zealot Productions premiered their newest short film A Thousand Words: Bloodline at the Drexel Gateway theater along with screening the newly cut Over Coffee. The movies played before a packed room in front of an audience of cast and crew and select special guests including some press. We were very pleased by the response we got to both films.
